Ohana – a Hawaiian term meaning “family” in an extended sense of the term, including blood-related, adoptive or intentional.
At Celebration we have a high value for being God’s family and Ohana is just one of the ways we are growing in our expression of living as family. An Ohana is a smaller group of our Celebration family who meet together with the purpose of sharing their lives with one another. They do this in a variety of ways such as: enjoying a meal, sharing testimonies, needs, victories, goals, sharing what God has been teaching, encouraging one another, and spending time in God’s presence. Each Ohana is an unique expression of God’s family, as each one is filled with different people, so we encourage you to check out an Ohana or two and then get plugged in and be known. Its in healthy family that we grow and become more than we could on our own. God loves to meet with His kids!
